What should the 2 other pokemon be in my FR game?

I have a level 25 female Raichu and level 29 male flareon that I am training. My 2 other friends are my level 33 Venusaur named Bulby and my level 42 Pidgeot named Ey...I am think Lapras for it's good HP and so on...but I dunno.


Point in game: Readying for 6th Gym battle(Blaine or Sabrina. Can't decide)

but why FLAREON?! This isn't Flare Blitz era, ahwell

Flareon mostly because I hate ponyta and growlithes make me laugh to hard in battle.

If its necessary to have a fire type on your team, I suggest you having a Infernape/Rapidash/Aracanine/Houndoom on you party rather then having flareon - it lacks speed and sp.a

True. I can't find a houndoom and again Arcanines and growlithes make me laugh.

Hmm i know very little about Fire types, or fire red if i'm honest but Poliwrath are a good pokemon, being water fighting, its sp attack ain't to bad and with body slam, surf or waterfall and fighing move its a prety hard pokemon to beat. As for the last Lapras has good hp its true...
