Lolen Adventure : Chapter 11: Illusion

I look across the water silently and watch the ripples from the pokemon underwater.

Me: Well...hm...I need HM surf...Where do I get it I wonder......

???: hehehe

Me: ? What?

???: *walks up to me* hehehe!

Me: Who are you?

Professor Bark: Catch that Zorua!

Me: ? What?

Zorua: Hehe!

Me: ...

Professor Bark: *huffs* Zorua...return....

Me: Are you the professor from the Lolen region? Well nevermind...That is a dumb question. Your name is on that name tag. What happened?

Bark: You see. I was showing some 3rd graders what starters they can get when they are 10...and Zorua darted.

Me: ...Maybe it was nervous?

Bark: Maybe. Anyways. I am Professor Bark. And I take it you are Victory?

Me: Huh? How'd you know?!

Bark: Elm told me you would be coming. But I missed you in Maple town so I hoped I could catch you before you hit Meadow town. And low behold, I found you! But then I got dragged into the classroom by the 3rd graders teacher. Anyways. I wanted to give you 3 things. One is the HM surf. Next is the HM Cut and finally, a rare Lolen starter!

Me: Was Zorua one of them?

Bark: So is Eevee and Togepi. Now...Make a choice.

Me: I dunno. They all seem like good choices.

The water splits apart at the surface and a Jellicent emerges from the water and wraps it's long tentacle arms around Zorua and Stoerm who was talking casually with Zorua.

Me: Stoerm! Zorua!

Bark: !!!!!Victory! what to do?!

At that moment, a quick resolve comes.

Me: Go! Sun! Use dive!

Sun quickly dives under with me following.

Me: (Gotta hold my breath...There it is! Lets swim faster!)

Jellicent: JELL! *Uses water pulse!*

Me: (Sun! Dodge!)

Sun: * as if hearing me, dodges!*

Me: (Now! Razor shell!)

Sun: *Uses razorshell and Jellicent runs and leaves Zorua and Stoerm behind.*

Me: *Grabs Zorua and Stoerm*

Me: *coughcoughcough*

Stoerm: *Shakes off and cough*

Zorua: *Runs over to Sun and thanks her*

Sun: Osha...*is embarrassed*

Bark: You alright?

Me: Yeah.

Bark: If you want to hold off on a choice I can-

Me: Na. I choose Zorua.

Sun & Zorua: *Lean on eachother*

Bark: Hmm... Alright! Would you like to nickname Zorua?

Me: How about Illusion!

Bark: Alright! And here. You may not want to repeat that again.

OBTAINED HM SURF!

OBTAINED HM CUT!

Me: Wow! Thank you!

Bark: Good. Surf can be taught to Sun. And cut to Zorua. Anyways. I wish you luck in the battle against the Gym Leader!

Me: Alright!

Sun: *Stands up straight and begins to glow*

Me: Evolution!

Illusion: Yip yap!

Your Sun has evolved into Dewott!

Me: Wow! You have 2 scalchops now too!

Sun: Dewott wott!

Me: Now I have a feeling we can win for sure! And with our new friend, Illusion, this journey will be even better!

Stoerm: Cynda!

Sun: Dewww!

Illusion: Zaa!
