X or Y?!?!

I'm getting Y, the game is aimed at gender, so i'll be getting the male version.

Main 2 reasons why Im getting X.
1. X or Xerneas is Blue my Fav color.
2. My cousin pre-ordered Y already.

Also how do u know its aimed at Gender? I haven't seen that confirmed yet.

Both or just Y. Y features a wyvern-like pokemon. I prefer those over a hoofed herbivore any day. XD

X and Y are aimed at the chromosomes Rex...... put simply Men are XY while Women are XX. Its what makes a girl a girl and a guy a guy. Game Freak are aiming the new pokemon games X and Y at this idea.
Hency why the new Eeveelution is so girly... Its for X while Y will get its own new male eevee style.

Eh u never know Aurath. Games are always misleading when alot of info isn't out. Also I read on some sites it seems backwards XD Guys are getting X n Girls are Getting Y. N still Its not technically aimed at gender since u can choose ur gender char. Its only goes into Gender if u think about it in a scientific way, which most people don't care about, or well most people in the US that is.

I understand what your saying Rex, but Game Freak told us that they were aiming the games at genders XD The gender selction wont be effected, but the games are based on the chromosomes as i said. Anyways, give a guy a chose between a wyvern and a deer and there gonna chose a dragon XD Its logical. I however will be going for Y myself. Dragon or no. I'm XY and will chose Y lol.

Its aimed at chromosomes, I said gender simply because thats the most basic way to explain chromosomes lol...... Regardless of game choses the games are X and Y..... Female and Male.

Another theory that could explain why it is called x and y are because of math. You've got the x axis and the y axis. I'm guessing if they release a third game it could be called z because the z axis is used when your doing something in 3D and considering this is the first 3D game it would make sense.

Though in defense of the gender theory if you look at the Japanese titles you can see what looks like a piece of rainbow DNA in the words.

this all sounds logical but game freak has not released anything on this as of yet on the game being gender related or even anything about an x and y axis theme these are all speculation from pokemon fans around the world guessing what it is about. all we really know for sure is the name of the games and the few new pokemon that they have revealed. well that and when it will be released lol. i wish theyd reveal more about the games but they havent yet. they prolly love watching us squirm and hope for things that may not even be true XD

Totally agree. Also I would like 2 add GC might be more correct then Auraths stand point. I mean Z. There is no gender match for Z. It could represent the Axis... Or GameFreak got tried of Pokemon games that basically go with Colors n now with Letters next thing u know there going with Numbers XD

Pokemon Z? = Zekrom? Lol just thought that was funny since Zekrom is the currently the only Z Legendary Pokemon confirmed. I wonder who the Other Z shall B.

Well I assume it would be a new legend if they went the z route.
