Silveon: Name origin?

Well. I'll bring back that burning question. What type IS Sylveon or...Ninfia.

Let's think. Starting on Ninfia

Looking at the name and sounding it out...It sounds similar to nymph. In the dictionary, this is its meaning:

"Any minor female deity associated with water, forests, etc. "

We already are aware of the possibility of Sylveon being a female eevee exclusive. This seemingly fits very well. Also,

"deity associated with water, forests, etc"
Single in on this part. A deity of water or forests or something. Now let's look at Sylveon, its main part of name featuring sylv in which adding an A gives you sylva.

°The forest trees of a particular area."

Seems oddly familiar to

"deity associated with water, forests, etc"


So this is beginning to lead me to believe

1. We're getting another grass eeveelution
or
2. Sylveon is possibly a bug type

Also one last fact:

"The word 'sylvan' means 'of the forest'"

What if it was a normal type Eeveelution?
I personally think that would suck.
