Besides that mewtwo was created. He can't just magically transform for no reason he wasn't created that way. He's not keldeo who just transforms because he feels something ... If this is real the movie better have a good explanation.

Game wise it doesn't make sense either mewtwo is still the mega powerful poke it has always been. It doesn't need a new form.

It is all probably just to hype everyone up is all. Silly if it is though coz we all waiting in anticipation as it is. Pokemon Smash has an announcement this weekend so maybe that might explain things

Lol nice twist to it Rex, I believe is just a hoax. It looks like the same as the "announcement" of the 6th gen starter evolutions which in the end it was a plain Fan made design. There no actually news of any of this only the two main legendaries/ three starters and the new eeveelution with rebons Lol.

Well...I don't know either. But I do know the new movie is Genesect and Mewtwo based. In a way, it kind of makes sense.

And also take into consideration. Mewtwo was a manmade pokemon. There is possibly more genetic make up than we acknowledged in 1st gen.

But Serebii says UNCONFIRMED...but this is still an interesting topic.

Anyone else have any guesses cause Pokemon has done this before With Mew n Arceus saying Mew was the First pokemon and has all the Pokemon Genes and is the original pokemon while Arceus is the Pokemon god and created all the Pokemon... Perhaps something like Giratina body form same pokemon just different form. Or perhaps a Genetic Fusion between Mewtwo with another pokemon ? Since the game is around the X n Y kinda like the dna chromosones

I have 2 thoughts. Its either Mewthree.... But I feel as if it is Mewthree... Someone prb stole genes from Team Rocket, or They somehow got some genes from Mew, as we know that goes terribly wrong, Or Its going 2 be like its a new Pokemon but Team Rocket Stole the DNA from this.. Pokemon n Mew 2 make Mewtwo cause if u think about it. Mewtwo has Mew forms but this things colors lol.... BESIDES THAT who wants 2 see a Mew Vs Mewtwo Vs This Thing Movie... Or Imagine its so powerful @_@ Mew n Mewtwo have 2 team up to fight against This new pokemon

It looks like it might be a new form, I've seen leaked pictures of two forms.... both slightly different. Might be one for X and one for Y. I can think of 10 pokemon that need a new pokemon in there chain... Mewtwo isn't one of them.

Well it is now confirmed. It's a new form of mewtwo and not mewthree.

I hope they don't do that 2 Mew. Mew is awesome with his current form

There saying its an 'awakened' form of mewtwo. This can only mean it will have more power and a taster set of moves in competative play. Maybe faster than the current Mewtwo. I look forward to seeing its prowess in battle.
